Easy Swiss Steak Recipes

Salisbury Steak

2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 c. dry onion soup
1 c. bread crumbs
2 eggs
Salt to taste
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 can water

Mix meat, bread crumbs, onions, eggs and 1 can soup as for meat loaf. Add salt and more crumbs if needed. Make into patties, flour and brown on both sides. Arrange in GLASS baking dish. Make gravy of soup and water. Pour over patties and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. .
