1 quart half and half or milk
1 quart milk, scalded
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c white sugar
1 lb. of dark brown sugar
4 whole eggs
1/2 pint whipping cream
Beat eggs and add sugars and cornstarch. Add scalded milk and
cook, stirring constantly, until it coats the spoon heavily. Let
cool then add the rest of the milk and cream. This fills a 1
gallon freezer.
