2 medium bananas, extra ripe; peeled
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs; beaten
2 cup whipping cream
2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
In saucepan, combine milk, cream, eggs, and sugar. Cook and stir
over low heat until mixture thickens slightly and coats the back
of a spoon. Cool to room temperature. Puree bananas in blender (
1 cup). Combine cooled custard, bananas, vanilla, salt and
nutmeg. Pour into freezer container. Freeze according to
manufacturer's directions.
